Netflix’s Content Analytics & Operations team is looking for an Associate to join its team in its Hollywood office. The Content Analytics & Operations team is part of the broader Content Strategy & Analytics team. We drive the vision and business strategy that provides Netflix with best-in-class metrics, tools, analysis, insights and reporting to make effective content performance and programming decisions. We partner closely with our Data Science & Engineering teams as well as Content and Content Strategy & Analysis leadership to do so.
This role is based in our Hollywood, California office with the expectation to come in 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Innovating and developing content performance metrics, frameworks, and insights
- Analyzing programming investment and performance to develop short- and long-term content planning
- Guiding Netflix’s content launch strategy and deepening understanding of title audiences
- Setting the strategy and structure for external data sharing
- Spearheading special projects for senior Netflix leaders and developing recommendations on key strategic issues
- Executing market research and competitive trends analysis
- Streamlining and managing key analytical operations and reporting
- Partnering closely with Data Science & Engineering across these efforts

Qualifications
- 1.5-3 years of work experience, ideally in investment banking or management consulting
- Passion for Content / Entertainment
- Experience conducting quantitative analysis (including modeling) and qualitative analysis and can drive to insight and results using data
- Excellent communication/presentation skills with a track record of presenting complex analyses to executives/senior management clearly and concisely
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced, always-changing environment
- Highly intellectually curious and has the courage to challenge the status quo and exhibits the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
- Excellent proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint
The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $60,000 - $385,000.
