About Us

We’re Fair Square Medicare, one of the fastest growing technology startups in the country. 95% of our clients would recommend us to a friend. 94% of our clients stay with us year over year.

Backed by some of Silicon Valley’s leading VCs, we just raised a $15M Series A to build upon our success and achieve our mission of helping every American senior successfully navigate one of the most daunting and byzantine systems ever known to man: Medicare.

We're a group of seasoned builders committed to the ruthless pursuit of excellence in every role and across all departments. Members of our leadership and engineering teams previously worked at Bridgewater, Apple, and Bain.

About Medicare

Almost every senior enrolls in a government program called Medicare when they turn 65. Medicare was passed into law in 1965 by LBJ as part of the "War on Poverty". Back then, it was all the coverage a senior needed, but 55 years later, healthcare costs are sky-high, and folks need to purchase secondary insurance from a private carrier or face the risk of bankruptcy.

And here's the problem: the average senior has 50 options of secondary Medicare coverage, each of which can lead to drastically different health outcomes. Concretely speaking, if you choose the wrong plan, you could die a lot sooner than if you chose the optimal one.

About the Role

After gaining significant traction, we’re building out partnerships and developing new marketing channels within a variety of industry verticals. This role will own the outcome of developing channels that drive significant revenue lift to FSM. We expect great and immediate impact from this role. A day in the life looks like this:

  • Brainstorming new channels and establishing testable hypotheses with Senior Leadership

  • Prospecting targets that may validate our hypotheses

  • Pitching our solution to targets (product demos, prospect qualification, contract negotiation)

  • Working cross-functionally with core departments to implement and measure the success of the partnerships you create

  • Developing and systematizing the growth playbook for new channels once proven

About You

We're looking for someone with rugged determination, natural sales abilities, and a bias toward executing against clear goals within an ambiguous and uncharted context. Though developing tactical strategies matters, we want "doers," not theorists.

You'll succeed in this role if you know what it takes to discover unproven commercial paths, and that process excites you.
