Shift: 25-30 hours/week
Working Hours: 9am-6pm MST
Pay: $19.00/hr USD

The Colorado Customer Support Specialist II (Office Administrator) role reports directly to the Director of Customer Support, though they may interact with and take direction/tasks from the executive team, other department heads, and/or state managers.


As a member of the Customer Support team, they should care deeply about people and are passionate about providing an exceptionally high standard of care. As a contributor to the Operations team, they should work with precision, excellence, and autonomy to satisfy on-site administrative responsibilities.

Daily Support Responsibilities (70%):

Our support team is responsible for hearing customer feedback, answering their questions, and addressing their concerns.

  • Support our internal and external customers through Zendesk and Slack
  • Collaborate with other departments including engineering, instructor management, and fleet
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate team while maintaining communication with the our customers
  • Collaborate with Customer Support Specialists to build strong relationships, establish ownership of responsibilities, and improve the efficiency of our processes
  • Establish and enrich support documentation specific to Colorado
  • Serving as a point of escalation for Colorado-specific requests

Daily Operations Responsibilities: (30%):

This role will work closely with the Fleet Operations and Behind-The-Wheel Operations teams to support their Colorado expansion and compliance efforts.

  • Maintain a majority in-office or onsite presence, though this individual may work remotely
  • Assist with Colorado growth tasks
  • Coordinate and communicate with Colorado regulatory agencies and vendors
  • Establish and maintain process documentation for Colorado
  • Fleet management (including but not limited to vehicle delivery/pick up, coordinating maintenance/inspections, shuttling vehicles, installing Samsara cameras, etc.)
  • Collect, organize, and maintain physical records/mail/packages
  • Maintain Colorado office hours required by regulatory agencies
  • Maintain and oversee physical office space (including but not limited to stocking office/facility supplies, cleaning the office, upkeep of equipment, facility rent/lease liaising, managing utilities payment, etc.)

    • Consistency in owning daily responsibilities
    • Taking direction from department heads/state managers to ensure operational success
    • Competency with 50% of responsibilities
    • Identifying inefficiencies
    • Maintaining on-site presence
    • Consistently providing a weekly summarization of all operational successes/challenges
  • 3-12 months
    • All items above plus…
    • Proactively working with department heads/state managers to ensure operational success
    • Competency with 100% of responsibilities
    • Creating measurable solutions to solve inefficiencies
    • Successfully integrating Coastline Academy into the local community (including but not limited to establishing local association memberships, hosting events, grassroots marketing efforts, etc.)
  • 12+ months
    • All the items above plus…
    • Assist Coastline Academy's efforts to expand further throughout Colorado
