DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In this role, you will build systems and infrastructures that collect and process data according to company needs and goals. Identifying and implementing internal process improvements.
  • Create and maintain a data inventory roadmap.
  • Build, evolve and scale out infrastructure to process and extract meaning out of data. Use analytical tools to utilize

the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into the business.

  • Design, develop and implement statistical models to carry out various novel aspects of classification and

information extraction from data.

  • Leverage existing data infrastructure to fulfill all data-related requests, perform necessary data housekeeping, data cleansing, normalization, hashing, and implementation of required data model changes.
  • Analyze data to spot anomalies, trends and correlate similar data sets.
  • Design, develop and implement natural language processing software modules.
  • Troubleshoot problems, identify possible solutions, and resolve accordingly.
  • Working with stakeholders including data, design, product, data scientist and executive teams and assisting them

with data-related technical issues.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to transform various data courses using SQL technologies
  • Intermediate Math Skills in relation to statistics and probability.
  • Knowledge of Relational databases (Firebird, SQL Server)
  • Be familiar with pattern and trend identification
  • Experience data mining and data QA
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills to include Microsoft Access, Microsoft Access Pass-Thru Query
  • Knowledge, and Microsoft Excel.
  • SQL-92 Standard skills (SQL database query language)
  • Understanding of ODBC
  • Basic knowledge in Business intelligence (BI)
  • Scripting languages such as Python to automate tasks
  • Experience data cleaning (seeing one-time anomalies for example)
  • Performs work under general supervision.
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have effective time management
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in data modeling and regression analysis
  • Experience in risk assessment.
