As an Enrollment and Eligibility Representative , you will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, processing, and maintaining new member(s)/group enrollment information.

Position in this function is responsible for preparing, processing and maintaining new member or group enrollments. Position may load new member or group data into the enrollment database & update the database with changes. Position may also respond to member eligibility or group questions & verify enrollment status. Position may work with various types of member correspondence. Position may also be responsible for reconciling eligibility discrepancies, analyzing transactional data &submitting retroactive eligibility changes. Position may also be responsible for inventory control of member and group transactions.

  • Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function.

  • Works with supervisor to solve more complex problems.
  • Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines.
  • Works with others as part of a team.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma / GED (or higher)
  • Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and strong mouse and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Available to work 40 hours per week within the operating hours of the site.
  • It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional required overtime or weekends.

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $33,280 - $55,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $35,000 - $61,700.
