Position: IT Security Specialist II

Type: Full Time

Reports to: ARMADA HQ

Security Clearance Required: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

Duties & Responsibilities:

The IT Security Specialist II shall provide technical expertise and support in emerging technologies of the following: These are limited to the following, but not limited to the following:

• Discovery of Data, Data Mining, Wireless Communications, Internet Technologies, Secure Messaging, Information Assurance, Public Key Infrastructure (PKl), and infrastructure protection.
• The IT Security Specialist II will manage and input/extract database information between disparate information systems.
• Support continuity of Government operations.
• The IT Security Specialist II will upload data into Scattered Castles.

• Geographic Information Systems
• Visual Simulation Applications

• Extensible Markup Language (XML)
• Microsoft (MS) Access
• SharePoint Technologies
• How products and services interrelate
• Supporting a customer's mission
• The Intelligence Community (JC) data base of individuals eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
• Represent Diplomatic Security (DS) with Senior Department officials, Congressmen, and Senators
• Gather requirements to develop Information Technology (IT) solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word: MS Access, SOL Server; Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Four (4) to six (6) years of related experience and training
  • Preferred certifications include:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)

• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)

• Microsoft-Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
