Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 15 years people management experience, including managing people managers
  • Experience leading commercial teams in a matrixed organization
  • Experience managing sales or operations functions in e-commerce, digital advertising, or multi-media environments


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing and delivering a dynamic business strategy that balances delivery with sustainable success in a business environment
  • Experience identifying issues and priorities to escalate regionally, globally, and to product teams
  • Experience analytically investigating performance issues, developing actionable insights, and action to capture and execute on business opportunities
  • Experience in sales leadership
  • Experience driving transformational change at global scale in a software systems environment
  • Ability to role model the development of successful business opportunities and relationships

Our Google Customer Solutions (GCS) team of entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and client-focused members are helping entrepreneurs build their online presence and their businesses. Our teams of marketers, digital strategists, analysts, and onboarding specialists collaborate to help advertisers achieve success through their relationship with Google and through our Google Ads products.

In this role, you will lead a team of people who work with our advertising companies, driving growth. You will develop national and international marketing strategies, finding optimal advertising solutions to meet their marketing objectives. They develop relationships and manage a pipeline of customers working toward objectives, collaborating with internal stakeholders to maximize the success of these customers and partners.

You will enable our customers to expand their businesses with Google's latest advertising products and solutions. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and by listening to and understanding them, you help your team strategically ensure their products and services can reach users to drive growth in their businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our Acquisitions strategy in the Americas region by ensuring a coordinated cross-functional acquisitions approach while growing the lifetime value of acquired accounts in the region.
  • Create and communicate a goal for America Acquisitions, ensuring approaches across component organizations to hit key metrics and milestones and deliver against business generation and product adoption targets.
  • Ensure Google advertising solutions are driving maximum value for our customers.
