Job descriptionThe Merchandising Coordinator works closely with a team of merchandisers and is responsible for seasonal merchandising data entry and maintenance across multiple systems. This role supports multiple areas including sales samples, reporting, line presentation, consumer insights, and go-to-market preparation.This role interfaces with a number of departments and requires strong communication, collaborative and organizational skills.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Seasonal Merchandising Data Maintenance & Projects
Enter and manage all seasonal style data and set it up in PLM and varying data systems.
Partner with the Design team on seasonal hangtag attributes by style, ensure choices are vetted on time, and complete data entry and accuracy sweeps
Coordinate seasonal naming process and facilitate communication with Columbia Legal team for approval (both style names and other marketed verbiage)
Key contributor for merchandising team to implement process improvements and system implementations, including PLM and other relevant systems
Enter and maintain data accuracy and information across multiple systems
Responsible for timely and thorough sales samples system set up, sample order, and release to partner teams on or before expected deadlines
Maintain seasonal carryover style/color data and distribute to Sales/DTC/Planning
Track and communicate sample discrepancies to all cross-functional partners
Reorder necessary SMS due to sampling errors for Direct Channel/website photo needs, complete Sales Orders and track status, coordinate samples, and deliver to a photo studio
Serve as point person to photo studio for all sample related questions and provide timely information to ensure accurate product depiction in our assets
Seasonal Go-To-Market Preparation, Market Research, and Line Execution
Assist with Merchandising collection pages for Account pre-lines, capsule or Channel/Account segmentation, and Seasonal Workbook
Conduct competitive research and reporting. This may include seasonal trends in the market and consumer insight analysis.
Support team with the preparation of prototypes, line sheets, strike-offs necessary for pre-lines, Sales Meetings, and other key deliverables.
Proof workbooks, and other Marketing materials for product data accuracy

1-3 years of experience working with data and systems; PLM or other product management systems preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to product details and a stickler for accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Marketing, Business, Fashion) preferred
1 to 2 years of experience with Merchandising is preferred but not required
Experience in a role that requires a high level of multi-tasking, organization, and time management
Strong ability to work in multiple seasons across multiple channels at any given time
