Fiber Installation Foreman
Summary: The Fiber Installation Foreman is to be responsible for running a crew that properly pulls fiber by hand, with a fiber puller, or blowing fibers. Setting handholes per company standards. Trenching in conduit to depth.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Valid Drivers License w/ good driving record
- Load/pull trailer (gooseneck or pull behind)
- Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
- Able to redline designs
- Keep time for self and crew
- Capture necessary close-out information
- Hand pull Fiber per company standards
- Use Fiber Puller and Fiber Blower to install fiber
- Set Handholes
- Trench conduit
- Cut concrete
- Core drill
- Install conduit (EMT, Rigid, Plenum)
- Proof conduit (rod and rope)
- Gain access to handhole and manholes
- Butterfly manholes
- Read Designs
- Set up traffic control
- Make ready wood poles
- Run equipment (Fiber Puller, Fiber Blower, Mini Excavator, Micro Plow, Aerial Lift, etc.)
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
