POSITION: Native Youth Community Project Grant Director - Wellpinit School District
DESCRIPTION: This position will facilitate and manage all grant activities. Administer, track, and monitor overall grant budget; Ensure all grant outcomes and deliverables are met in a timely manner; Develop and implement systems (such as timelines,
templates and report models) to gather progress data to include in required reports;
gather and track project data; Ensure reporting compliance; develop and prepare annual budgets and regular reports; Collaborate and facilitate a working relationship with with all Wellpinit School District employees and staff, Spokane Tribal Programs, and community. Facilitate needed training and disseminate best practices from grant activities. Facilitate interagency agreements with contractors; Develop communication and reporting systems; Develop and maintain positive working relationships with industry, education, other agencies and stakeholders to meet the outcomes of the grant; liaise with assigned federal staff; Attend meetings as scheduled; perform other duties as assigned in relation to the grant and
departmental overall goals.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in education, business or administration; Transportation with valid driver’s license and ability to travel. Demonstrated ability to work independently; Ability to perform administrative tasks effectively, including the ability to manage, organize, coordinate, plan, budget, and supervise program. Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills. Ability to organize and work effectively in a fast paced environment independently, as part of a small program team, and with diverse groups. Can’t be suspended or debarred from doing business with the federal government.

SCHEDULE: OPEN UNTIL FILLED
Salary: This will be a 200 day position at $35.00 per hour for 7.5 hours per day. It can be a combination of remote and in-person work. Paid holidays, paid vacation and sick leave included.
Disclosure Statement and Record Check: Pursuant to Chapter 486, Washington Laws of 1987, a recommended applicant, if not a current regular employee, will be required to complete a disclosure form indicating whether he or she has been convicted of crimes against persons listed in the law. In addition, a background check based on finger prints, will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI. Employment is conditional based upon completion of the record check. Must pass pre-employment drug test.
