External candidates are eligible for a one-time signing bonus of $4,000 (prorated for part time roles). The bonus will be paid out as a $1,000.00 pay adjustment in the first pay check following the completion of a successful, 90 day orientation; the second installment of $3,000 will be paid upon completion of one year (2,080 hours/ prorated for part time) of satisfactory service in the department hired into.
The Neurology Patient Access Specialist answers inbound calls for the Neurology outpatient clinic, providing front-line customer service to patients, physicians and staff. The Patient Access Specialist schedules and coordinates simple and complex patient appointments for respective clinics. Incumbent prioritizes patient problems and provides appropriate patient instructions. This position requires the ability to communicate in a clear, effective, and competent manner while providing welcoming and approachable service to ensure a positive outcome. This role is often a patient's first point of contact with the clinic and is therefore important in setting the tone and ensuring high quality care.
High School diploma or GED
Demonstrated customer service in a medical, fast-paced retail or other business environment. Call center experience preferred. Experience typing preferred.
