Job Summary
The GAL Manufacturing is looking to fill the position of Production Worker, who under the direction of the Production Manager will primarily be responsible to perform a variety of fabrication and assembly jobs running throughout the whole plant. The Production Associate must perform in a fast-paced manufacturing plant, have outstanding communication, and strong work ethic. Must operate equipment to meet facility goals for safety, quality, productivity and teamwork.

Job Duties

• Use various measuring tools such as caliper, micrometers, and tape measures to accurately measure parts.
• Set up and operate equipment to meet facility goals for safety, quality, productivity and teamwork.
• Perform changeovers as required for all manufacturing equipment.
• Adapt to changes and directions of daily production.
• Meet hourly and daily production targets.
• Complete and pass training for forklift and passenger wagons and die change over.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
• Basic mathematical skills
• Must be able to understand and follow work procedures
• Must be able to adapt to changes and direction of the daily production
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds

Work Conditions

• Working in a busy manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions
• Risk of injury from heavy equipment or heavy lifting
• Overtime hours as needed (nights, weekends, holidays)
