The Senior Manager, Paid Search must have a love for Paid Search strategic thinking blended with an ability to roll up their sleeves and see things through to execution and optimization. They will have proven themselves as an energetic and collaborative team member with responsibilities on high performing brands/accounts.
Ideally, the right candidate will possess an interest in healthcare and the scientific process and how to reach various audiences – from patients to healthcare professionals and everyday practitioners to thought leaders. An idea partner, they know that collaboration is key, and works lockstep with fellow disciplines to deliver high quality work to set the tone for what performance excellence looks like.
For this role, you will be a key member of an integrated cross-functional team working to bring marketing and communications campaigns to life through the paid search medium.
As a leader on the paid search team, you must be able to collaboratively lead internal and client strategic thinking to ensure that proposed media tactics directly achieve client strategic imperatives.
The Senior Paid Search Manager is passionate about delivering results, simplifies existing processes, and innovates to drive long-term results. They are known for testing in new areas and leveraging opportunities to scale based on results.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Paid Search campaigns for multiple clients
- Ownership of daily optimizations and general account management
- Demonstrate ability to translate client needs into actions
- Create, maintain and execute reporting & deliverables
- Analyze data, identify conversion & traffic trends and insights
- Opportunity to own day-to-day client relationship
- Execute campaign management tactics across multiple networks
- Perform keyword and competitive research utilizing several tools

- Ability to take initial direction, then transition to a more independent work style.
- Strong communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-6 years search campaign management experience
- 2+ years pharma industry experience
- Clinical Trial experience is a plus
- Google Ads Certification desired
- Expertise in search campaign implementation, management, analysis, and optimization
- Maintain understanding of new and evolving product offerings
- Well versed in vendor landscape, contributes to agency POVs
- Ability to link brand goals search campaign organizing and execution
- Ability to translate and communicate campaign success to clients
- Understanding of analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and Adobe Site Catalyst)
- Intermediate level understanding of Excel functions (i.e., VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, chart building) and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of and experience with search campaign management tools such as SA360 a plus
