We are seeking multiple high-energy Technology Readiness & Support Trainers as part of our Wholesale Sales team. These positions will be located at one of our factory/store locations in the Northeast or Southeast regions.

This role includes a hybrid work schedule option.

The Technology Readiness & Support Trainer provides technical training and support for new hires for Wholesale sales staff and managers. Ensures the trainee has all proper application downloads, and reporting access to perform their responsibilities successfully. This role also supports existing sales staff and management with technology changes and questions regarding current technologies and reporting platforms.

The essential functions for this position include but are not strictly limited to:
  • Execute and contribute toward ongoing development of the framework for new hire training suitable for all levels of experience
  • Partner with hiring managers to coordinate training start date and provide regularly scheduled training updates
  • Liaise with the IT department to ensure the delivery of equipment to new hires ensuring the new hire has access to all necessary software relative to their role in addition to all hardware.
  • Determine learning needs, tracking participant progress to completion
  • Schedule and conduct, virtual technical training for new hires and existing team members
  • Stay current and informed on updates to technology ensuring team members are aware and well-versed on enhancements
  • Performing all other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Tuff Shed management
  • The Technology Readiness & Support Trainer may be required to work overtime (including some weekend work) in order to fulfill the requirements of the role; in addition, s/he must be present in the office as scheduled, and work all required hours

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Technical expertise and functional knowledge on the use of on-line applications/programs, and on the access and retrieval of internal reporting
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Ability to partner effectively with field and NSC partners
  • Ability to teach technical content to new learners
  • Experience in a technical training or instruction role
  • Ability to determine learning needs ; tracking participant progress to completion
  • Experience facilitating virtually for all learning levels
  • Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet applications required; experience in utilizing Customer Relations Management (CRM) software – including Oracle, JDE, Onyx, Salesforce.com, Goldmine or similar systems is highly preferred
  • Ability to solve problems using sound logic and good business judgment
