Job Summary: The Video Producer is a creative and conceptual thinker who works in sync with the Creative Services Director, video team, and project stakeholders to produce high-quality videos for SHI Marketing. As a Video Producer, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creative expertise, strong technical skills, and collaborate with the video team to produce engaging videos that help showcase SHI’s visual brand, story, and impact across a variety of our technology partners.This position reports to the Creative Services Director and is a remote position with a home office setup. - Collaborate with the Creative Services Director, video team, and relevant stakeholders to produce (audio/video) content for customer stories, partner videos, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and other campaign-wide projects
- Script (or edit pre-existing scripts), storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects
- Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
- Plan video shoots and develop production schedules including scouting, selecting, and reserving shoot locations
- Develop shot lists for video and photography (if applicable)
- Work with established agencies to select and hire additional crew and talent; direct and coach talent; make transportation arrangements for crew, talent and equipment; and ensure all location power needs are met
- Must provide a link to a portfolio or highlight reel of work to be considered
- Bachelor’s degree in film, media, production, marketing or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in an in-house design team or design, media, or advertising agency
- In-depth knowledge of video production requirements, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills
- Project management skills, including attention to detail and an aptitude for making quick, quality decisions
- Ability to understand and evaluate analytics and create plans for recommendations on increased engagement through digital channels
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud including Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
- This is a remote role with occasional travel to offices in Austin/New Jersey or London
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 which includes a base salary and bonuses. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
